(Oshkosh, Wis.)—Five short years after Dr. Shaheda Govani’s start-up dental practice opened, additional office space is in the works. With increasing patient demand, the practice now pushes capacity in its current facility.
As her business began to see growth, Dr. Govani couldn’t imagine leaving her quaint, log cabin style North-side office. The need to expand and renovate the existing space became apparent. Construction of a 1,000 square foot addition to the Govani Dental LLC office, located at 1819 Evans Street, is now underway.
Looking forward to the expanded space, Dr. Govani states, “The opportunity to build and grow a business in my hometown while helping patients maintain healthy smiles is truly a dream come true.” The addition will include new treatment rooms, a staff break room and expanded lab and sterilization facilities.
Existing patients of Govani Dental need not fear; the pool table, Wii® and other waiting room favorites will remain intact. During the renovations, Dr. Govani, her team and therapy dog, Ruby, will continue to see patients and offer the same superior, welcoming care.

Dr. Govani earned a Doctorate in Dental Surgery at Milwaukee’s Marquette University School of Dentistry. Before receiving her doctoral degree, she completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. She is actively involved in numerous organizations, including Oshkosh Rotary, the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association Ethics Committee, the Winnebago County Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Chicago Dental Society.
